Jamshedpur: Members of United Left Front, Kolhan, have asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi to bring back black money stashed away in Swiss Bank accounts by corrupt Indians instead of causing harassment to the public through demonetization.
CPI (M) leader JP Singh alleged that the PM was just trying to beat around the bush by not focusing on the real issue. He said the black money kept in Swiss accounts was 96 per cent of the total black money hidden by Indians.
He said there was no point in harassing so many Indians for taking out just four per cent of the black money.
The United Left Front members also demanded action against corporate houses to recover bad debt from them and supply of adequate cash for the common people.
