‘Learn with Fun Day’ opens sustainability window to Baug-E-Jamsheed kids

Jamshedpur, Sept 15: Baug-E-Jamsheed School, renowned for its 44-year legacy of providing top-notch preschool education, marked its annual ‘Learn with Fun Day’ on September 15. This year’s event, themed “Sustainability,” aimed to propagate the importance of environmental conservation among young learners. Baug-E-Jamsheed School firmly believes that children possess the potential to be change champions and effective advocates for saving the planet.

The event witnessed active participation from five Nursery and Kindergarten students representing approximately 25 schools in the Steel City, accompanied by their teachers.

Tina Bodhanwala Sood, Director of Tarapore School, graced the inaugural function as the Chief Guest. The day began with a captivating story on sustainability, followed by a catchy educational song to engage and educate the young minds. The Chief Guest also delivered an inspiring address.

The event’s highlight was six engaging activities designed to harness multiple intelligences while emphasizing sustainability. These activities included educating children on the principles of reuse, replacement, and recycling of materials, fostering a sense of responsibility towards the environment.

Notably, the children left the event with the creations they had crafted during the activities. Teachers from participating schools praised the initiative, emphasizing that it offered a brilliant and enjoyable approach to learning. The ‘Learn with Fun Day’ was a delightful and enriching experience for both the young learners and their educators.
