Jamshedpur, Nov 8: In keeping with the guidelines of the SVEEP Activity Calendar for the ensuing Jharkhand Vidhan Sabha elections � 2019, a workshop was conducted at the Lal Bahadur Shastri Memorial (LBSM) College in Karandih where students, especially those 18 year old and will be exercising their franchise for the first time were given instructions and practical training in the operation and functions of VVPAT machine and AVM. NSS Program Officer Dr Dipanjay Srivastav explained in detail about the modes of conducting awareness campaigns for voters while conducting the session. Professor-in-Charge of the College Vinod Kumar presided over the proceedings.
Among the faculty and staff members who were present in the workshop were Prof LC Das, Dr Ajay Kumar Verma, Prof Bhagwan Das, Prof Santosh Ram, Prof Arvind Pandit and representatives from Jamshedpur Block who included Anil Verma along with his team members Dharmpal, Puja, Manisha, Shyam Pal, Rimpa, Amit, Saurabh, Sanjay, Hemant, Prabhakar, Raja, Jai Singh, Niraj, Vikas, Vinay and Vishal.
