LBSM College gets bicycle stand, more facilities to come

Jamshedpur: A bicycle stand was inaugurated at Lal Bahadur Shastri Memorial College, Karandih, on Friday by the MLA of Potka Menka Sardar. The stand has been constructed at the cost of Rs 7.86 lakh. It is 100 feet long, said the college officials. The chief guest of the occasion was the vice chancellor of Kolhan University RPP Singh. Many other dignitaries were present during the inaugural function.

Addressing the gathering, the vice chancellor said the bicycle stand had been gifted to the students in a bid to enhance facilities for them on behalf of the university. He said many more facilities will be provided to the students in the coming days. He said the students should utilize the available facilities for their maximum benefit.

On the occasion, the district civil surgeon Dr Vibha Sharan was felicitated by the college management.
Among others present during the function included former pro vice chancellor Dr Shukla Mohanty, MLA Sanatan Manjhi, Professor Digambar Hansda, principal of the college Professor Ashok Kumar Verma, NCC officer Captain RK Choudhary, OP Khandelwal, Dr Kanchan Mala, Ajay Choubey, Vinod Kumar, Vinay Gupta, Karu Manjhi, Bhagwan Sahu and Dr Sudhir Singh.
