Lalit Das felicitated by women in Jadugora

Jadugora: Social worker Lalit Das was felicitated by hundreds of women in Jadugora on Wednesday.

Local women�s leader Chanda Mukhi appealed to Das to link local self help groups to self-employment programmes so that the women may become self-reliant.

Das was on his way to Baharagora. He stopped at Jadugora More Chowk. He garlanded the statues of Sidhu-Kanhu.

Chanda Mukhi told him that local women should be encouraged on the lines of a similar move taken in Gujarat to set up cottage industry.
