Jamshedpur, April 28: The Recognition Day of the primary section of J. H.T arapore School was held on Thursday, April 28 at the school premises.
The program began by lighting the lamp by the Chief Guest Rubina Bodhanwala, managing trustee, Tarapore Schools.
As this year is being observed as the International Year of Pulses, the students presented a wonderful “nukkad natak” based on the theme. A colorful cultural program was also staged during the occasion.
The presentation highlighted the achievements of the school in the past year. The prize winners were applauded as they received their awards for academic excellence, perseverance, good conduct, class all- rounder and for being the most responsible students.
The special prizes were awarded to the students for their achievements in various events, dance and yoga.
Lachi, a student of Class 5 was awarded with the all-rounder award in the primary department.
This year the proceeds from the Children’s Day Mela were handed over to two organizations. START (Society for Technical Assistance and Remedial Teaching) and R.P Patel Cheshire Home.
The people who donated blood during the blood donation camp this year were also felicitated.
