Ranchi, June 25: Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that the power of labor force is the base for development of a state and the country.
During a discussion on effects of globalization on Labor force, Das said that it is obvious to see the plans for development of labour in changing environment.
Labour is an essential part of our society who works under the sun and play important role in the development of the state and country.
CM Das was speaking at Regional Conference of State Labour Ministers and secretaries of Eastern States at Hotel B.N.R Chankya in Ranchi on Thursday.
CM further said that he also comes from a labour family and has worked for the people by labour work and have reached this far. 92 percent of unorganized labour works in the state and other states of the country. He called for all round facility for the labourers so that they can help in high growth of the country and the state.
The conference was attended by Labour Ministers and Principal Secretaries of five states-Jharkhand,West Bengal,Bihar,Chattisgarh and Orissa in addition to Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das,Union Minister of State for Labour and Employment(Independent Incharge)Bandaru Dattareya.
All of them spoke and talked about the problems faced by the labour and management on issues related with labour,employment and skill development.
