Jharkhand Government transfers 7 IPS officers

Ranchi, Oct 8: In a major bureaucratic reshuffle, the Jharkhand government has transferred seven IPS officers in the state. As per the official notification, Hazaribagh’s Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO), Kumar Shivashish, has been appointed as the City Superintendent of Police (SP) of Jamshedpur.

This position had been vacant since Mukesh Lunayat’s transfer to Saraikela-Kharsawan as SP.

Paras Rana has been posted as the Superintendent of Police for West Singhbhum, Rakesh Singh as SP of Palamu, and Ritvik Srivastava as SP of Chatra. Sheikh Mohammad Yakub has been made the Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) of Hussainabad, Lalit Meena as SDPO of Chainpur in Gumla, and Amit Anand as SDPO of Hazaribagh.

All officers have been instructed to assume their new roles immediately.
