Jamshedpur: Gandhi Jayanti was celebrated in Kolhan University with hundreds of students and National Cadet Corps (NCC) members taking part in Swachh Bharat campaign.
The campaign was launched in Bhudrudih village of Jamshedpur block.
It was launched by the pro vice chancellor of Kolhan University Dr Shukla Mohanty. The mukhiya of the local panchayat Kanho Murmu presided over the programme.
Among others present on the occasion included Professor Digambar Hansda, principal of Lal Bahadur Shastri Memorial (LBSM) College Professor Ashok Kumar Verma, Professor Karu Manjhi, Professor Vinay Gupta and Professor Purnima Kumar.
