Jamshedpur: District media in-charge of Jamshedpur Mahanagar BJP Ankit Anand here on Monday demanded cancellation of LLB exams conducted last month by Kolhan University.
He said the exams should be cancelled immediately since a majority of examinees had resorted to cheating.
Terming the cancellation of just one paper of LLB exams as an eyewash, Anand said the university authorities should cancel all papers and re-conduct the exams under the surveillance of CCTV cameras and magistrates.
The BJP spokesperson said he had received threatns from several self-proclaimed student leaders after he raised the issue of corrupt practices during law exams. He said he had written to the vice chancellor of KU, Shukla Mohanty, to demand re-examination.
He said if his demand for cancellation of exams was not fulfilled, he will file RTI application to seek a probe into the corrupt practices.
