KSMS Students Celebrate Grandparents Day with Music, Games and Nostalgia

Jamshedpur, Sept 18: Kerala Samajam Model School (KSMS), an ISO 9001:2015 certified institution, celebrated Grandparents Day with joy and enthusiasm on Thursday. The event, organized by the school’s IT Club and Western Music Club, brought together students of grades 1 and 2 with their grandparents in a heartwarming celebration of love and bonding.

The program began with a warm welcome by IT Club moderator Amrendra Kumar. Young students entertained the gathering with songs and musical performances, filling the hall with nostalgia and delight. One of the most cherished moments was the game segment, conducted by Rajan Singh, followed by a lively Bollywood quiz led by Kamalpreet Kaur. A special event titled “Yaad Aa Gaya Mujhko Guzara Zamana”, where grandparents participated along with their grandchildren, added a unique charm and created lasting memories.

The celebration was conducted under the supervision of Principal Nandani Shukla. Vice Principal A. L. Abraham, Reena Banerjee, and Sujata Singh graced the occasion as chief guests. Expressing gratitude, Western Music Club moderato Michelle said, “The presence of the grandparents added a special dimension to today’s event. Their love, wisdom, and experience are a precious asset to our students.”

The event concluded with captivating performances by the children, leaving grandparents delighted and strengthening the intergenerational bond.
