Jamshedpur, Oct 2: Students of Kerala Samajam Model School (KSMS) have excelled at the Jharkhand School Innovation Challenge (JHSIC), securing silver medals in both senior and junior categories at the event held at IIT (ISM) Dhanbad.
This prestigious competition encourages students to showcase innovative solutions for a smarter future.

The competition, which aims to promote innovative solutions for a smarter future, is open to students from classes 7-10 (junior) and classes 11-12 (senior) from schools across Jharkhand. KSMS students showcased their creativity and problem-solving skills, earning accolades in both divisions.
In the senior category, Sankalp Samrath and Arindam Patra won a silver medal and a cash prize of ₹30,000 for their “Automated Parking System,” which offers real-time slot updates, seamless entry-exit, and paperless operations.
In the junior category, Bhavya Jaluka, A. Kaushal Kiran, and Achintya Gupta earned a silver medal and ₹15,000 for their “Smart Industrial Emission Tracker,” a drone-based system for monitoring industrial emissions with real-time data tracking.
