Swarup, Bipul and Navneet win free studentship for plus 2
Jamshedpur, June 24: Kerala Samajam Model School (KSMS) celebrated its annual academic Prize Night on Saturday in the school premises.
Raj Kumar Singh, District Education Officer, East Singhbhum was the Chief Guest for the occasion. Various Trophies and letters of appreciation were awarded to all-rounder students and to those scoring the highest marks in various subjects in the ICSE and ISC Examinations.
Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals were awarded to the top 3 students of the Std X, Std XII Board Examinations 2018.
In the ISC exam- Swastika Chetani with 96.75 % marks bagged the gold medal, Satyam Tilwani scored 96.50 % marks to receive silver medal and Shreya Banerjee along with Sarthak Sahu received bronze medal for scoring 96.25 % marks.
In the ICSE exam- third national topper Swarup Padhi who scored 99 % marks received gold medal, Bipul Kumar with 98.4 marks win the silver medal while Navneet Kaur scored 98.2 marks and bagged the bronze medal.
The students scoring the first, second and third highest aggregate in the ICSE Examinations were given free studentship for their stay in the school for the next two academic years. This year Swarup, Bipul and Navneet are the recipients of the scholarship.
Winners in the sports area were appreciated namely, Afaque Karim, Simardeep Singh and Md. Shayan Hasin.
Dolly Singh of Std IX was declared as the Most Preserving Student of the year 2017-18 for her academic excellence and exemplary behaviour.
Pamela Verma of Std. XI will be as the �Hemprabha Shukla Scholar�.
Students of Std. 3 4 & 7 were awarded for their all-round performance namely: Std. 3 � Saksham Shreshta, Std. 4 � Sahil Kumar Saha and Std. 5 � Aditya Jha.
