Kshatriya Sangh meets DC over Padmavati row

Jamshedpur: A delegation comprising members of Jharkhand Kshatriya Yuva Sangh led by the outfit president Rajesh Singh Bam met the deputy commissioner of East Singhbhum, Amit Kumar, on Saturday to demand a ban on the screening of the film �Padmavati�. The outfit members said the film was an attempt to portray �Maa Padmavati� by distorting historical facts. They said the Rajputs as well as the entire Hindu community was offended by the movie. Bam said the outfit members would meet local cinema management officials to demand ban on the film�s screening. Among those present on the occasion included Shankar Dayal Singh, Rakesh Singh, Hari Singh, Shambhu Singh, Pramod Singh, Arjun Singh and Sanjay Singh.
