The rath will travel through Noamundi, Moudi, Badajamda, Pokharpi Panchayats to educate the farmers on how pre-monsoon will be utilised for sowing the seeds in the field.
As per the metrological prediction the rainfall will be less this year. In view of the prediction, we are advising the farmers to sow paddy seed and maintain differences of ten days period at different places before monsoon arrives.
We also suggest that high land should be used to grow crops like Maize, Jwar , Bazra and pulse seeds as these crops require less quantity of water for irrigation. The farmers should not use seeds to sow without medicinal treatment.
The medicines are available at every block agriculture office and provided free of cost. These medicine can be collected through Kishan Mitra and Jan Sevak.
Kisan can use Srividhi system as well as DSR system for growing paddy crops.
