Jamshedpur: Kerala Public School (KPS), Mango, organised annual sports competition on Thursday at the JRD Tata Sports Complex, witnessing enthusiastic participation from students across categories. Amity House delivered an outstanding performance to clinch the overall championship trophy, while Honesty House emerged as the runner-up.
Several students were honoured with Best Athlete titles for their exceptional performances. Sunny Kumar Singh was named Best Athlete in the Super Senior Boys’ category, Afsa Junaid in the Girls’ category, Sakib Alam in the Senior Boys’ category, and Falak Zubair in the Senior Girls’ category.
The sports meet featured a wide range of athletic events along with well-coordinated drills and a colourful march past. Special performances by Taekwondo and Yoga students drew loud applause from the audience.
Civil Surgeon Dr. Sahil Pal attended the event as the chief guest. Also present were KPS Trust Chairperson Manorama Nair, Director Sharath Chandran, Academic Director Lakshmi R, school principals, teachers, parents, and students, making the event a grand success.
