Jamshedpur, Dec. 20: Students of Kerala Public School (KPS), Mango kick-started its youth fest in the school premises on Tuesday.
The fest kicked off with around 300 student participants from classes 4 to 10. Mrs Lakshmi Sharat, Principal K.P.S INCAB School was the chief guest during the inaugural ceremony.
An array of events were lined up ranging from painting to dance, Solo song, group and solo dance, debate, pot painting, fashion designing and cartooning.
The bedazzling performances were graced by Mrs. Alka Sinha, Principal Kerala Public School, Mango and Mrs. Arti Bedi, Vice Principal, Kerala Public School, Mango.
�Such festivals go a long way in creating a positive ambience in the school, as these help develop a sense of teamwork,� said Principal, Kerala Public School, Mango.
The Youth Festival saw effervescent and vivacious cultural live performances by children of Kerala Public School, Mango, and a vivacious lively performance by the dance group of different houses.
Mrs. Shanta Vaidyanathan, Asst Director, Kerala Public Schools graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour for the closing ceremony. Mrs. Alka Sinha, the Principal distributed the prizes to the winners.
Honesty House was the overall champion whereas Loyalty and Modesty shared the runners up trophy.
The cultural festivity ended with the National Anthem.
