KPS Mango felicitates Tata Steel Sports manager Dr Hassan

Gold medalist NCC cadet Manish awarded scholarship

Jamshedpur, Oct 18: KPS Mango on Tuesday felicitated Dr Hassan Imam Mallick, Manager, Tata Steel Sports Department and school’s NCC cadet Manish Kumar Yadav who won two gold medals in firing competition in All India Thal Sainik Camp 2022 held at New Delhi by Directorate General NCC.

Principal Rupa Ghosh expressed her happiness and thanked Hassan Imam for sparing valuable time to be present for the occasion.

The esteemed guests who graced the occasion were Mr.

Sharat Chandran, Director, Kerala Public Schools, Abha Vishwakarma and staff and students of the school were present.

Students of KPS Mango presented mesmerizing dance on patriotic song.

Director of KPS Sharat Chandran introduced Dr Hassan and spoke very highly of him. He said Dr Hassan started his career as a ‘Mazdoor’ in Tata Steel and rose to the rank of ‘manager’ today. He did not shy away from doing menial jobs. He read out an impressive long list of the credentials and awards of Dr Hassan.

Dr. Hassan’s spoke of his association with the late APR Nair (Chairman of KPS) who treated him like his son and always encouraged him to work hard to achieve great heights as he saw his potential.

The highlight of the programme was the kind gesture of the school management to give scholarship for academics to Manish Kumar Yadav till Std. X.
