KPS Mango awards meritorious students

Jamshedpur, Nov. 1: Keeping alive the spirit of patriotism, Kerala Public School, Mango organised its Annual Prize Distribution Function in the aesthetically decorated school campus. It was an endeavor to acknowledge the continuing saga of glorious achievements of its students in the ICSE board, school examinations and various other fields.

The function commenced with the auspicious lighting of the lamp by the chief guest Dr Shrikant Nair and principal Mrs Alka Sinha. The chief guest along with the other members of the managing committee and distinguished guests gave away prizes to the meritorious students for their par excellent performance in various fields.

Jaweriya Akhtar received P.N Menon rolling trophy for being the topper of ICSE 2015. She also received Sumitra Menon Award for securing highest in English. Abu Talha was the second topper whereas Aditya Tomar was the third topper. Md. Rahim Ansari also bagged Sumitra Menon Award for scoring highest marks in mathematics. He secured 90% and above in HCG, Science and Computer.

Naimat Fatma Rolling Trophy for scoring highest in National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) 2015 was received by Damini�Singh. Md. Danish and Fouzia Anwar was the second and third topper respectively. In all 53 prizes were given away to the students.

Students with 95 % marks were awarded gold plated pure silver medals while pure silver medals and certificates were given away to students with 85% and above marks.

In his address, the chief guest applauded the efforts of the prize winners and encouraged them to do better.
The principal Mrs. Alka Sinha congratulated the prize winners and their proud parents. She also motivated the students to continue their toil and attain greater heights in life.

Brief interludes in the form of cultural items like dance � a fusion of contemporary and Sufi styles complimented by the students added to the grandeur of the show. The sublime energy of rhythm and melody enthralled the audience. The grand spectacle came to a close with the National Anthem.
