Jamshedpur, October 17: Kerala Public School (KPS) Kadma student Arnab Mukherjee brought laurels to the city by winning the Fr. George Hess Memorial ASISC National Debate 2025, held on October 10 at Lalji Mehrotra Lions School, Ahmedabad. Arnab not only emerged as the National Winner but also received the Best Speaker Award (Against the Motion) for his outstanding performance.
Competing against 24 top debaters from 12 regions across India, Arnab impressed the judges and audience with his sharp reasoning, confident delivery, and well-structured arguments on the topic “Freedom of Speech Should Be Restricted.” His articulate presentation and command over the subject earned him top honours in the prestigious national competition.

This achievement marks a proud moment for KPS Kadma, which continues to nurture talent through its strong academic and debate mentoring programmes. The school credited Arnab’s success to his hard work, discipline, and consistent guidance from teachers and mentors.
The Management, Principal Sharmila Mukherjee, and staff congratulated Arnab for his remarkable national-level achievement, calling it a moment of pride for the entire KPS family.
