Jamshedpur, Feb.7: The tiny tots of pre-primary segment of KPS Kadma participated in the Fancy Dress Competition held in the school premises on 4th and 5th February.
The Chairperson Manorama Nair, Director Sharat Chandran, Academic Director Lakshmi Sharat, Principal Sharmila Mukherjee, Co-ordinator Alamelu Ravishankar were present during the event.
Nilanjan Dasgupta, Shital Padhiar, Sunita Muthoo and Shital Padhiar were the judges for the competition. Clothes make a statement whereas costumes tell us a story. It is an art of wearing an amazing and unusual costume as a part of a theme. The event started with the lighting of the lamp by Chairperson Manorama Nair and the Principal Sharmila Mukherjee. A welcome speech was delivered by the students followed by a song by the toddlers.
It was a pleasure to watch the toddlers masquerade as different characters. It was overwhelming to see little ones speaking so confidently. This activity helped the students of the pre-primary section to overcome their stage fear, bring out their inner talent, give them a platform to build their self-confidence and explore their inner strength. The parents were amused at the way the children spoke. The students showcased their talent cheerfully. They participated with much enthusiasm and enthralled everybody with their endearing acts. It was awe-inspiring to see little ones speaking assertively. The winners were-Nursery: Theme: (Junk Food / Healthy Food) 1ST Prize was bagged by Riddhi Mohanty, 2nd prize Ayesha Ghosh, 3rd prize Paridhi Tripathy. Consolation prizes were won by Rishabh Choudhary and Roshni Kumari.
LKG: Theme: Celebrity (Sports / Astronauts / Historical Characters / Peace Activists)
1ST Prize was won by Nilesh Paul. 2nd prize Ananya, 3rd prize Manjiri Kumar. Ronit Ghosh and Aadil Ali won consolation prize.
For UKG: Theme: (Fairy Tale Character / Cartoon Character) 1ST Prize was won by Sreejit followed by Rudra Mallick and Md. Ather Ahmad.
Consolation prizes were bagged by Sai Slok and Ananya Yadav. The dynamic show concluded with the encouraging words of the Chairperson Manorama Nair and the principal Sharmila Mukherjee who lauded the admiral performances of the tiny tots, parents and teachers for the success of the event with the prize distribution ceremony followed by an address given by the judges.
