KPS Kadma students to mark danger zones in Beldih Lake

Jamshedpur: The Design for Change (DFC) team at Kerala Public School, Kadma has taken up the cause of marking danger zone and depth details at strategic points around Beldih Lake supported by Jusco this year.

The untimely death of Shivam Jha, a student of standard XI triggered the concern and urge in the students through the Design for Change project for 2014.

The design for change is global movement to empower children to be the change they wish to see in the surrounding. The initiative was supported by JUSCO authorities at a formal function at Beldih lake on 14th October’ 2014.

The guest of honour, Satyarath Raj, Chief Safety, JUSCO, unveiled the sign board. The chief guest addressed the gathering and motivated the children by asking them to carry on the good work.

The principal thanked JUSCO MD, Ashish Mathur, for his immediate support. The Director, Sharad Chandran NairPrincipal Sharmila Mukherjee, Principal Harmeet Pal along with all the KPS Trust school principals were present on the occasion.
