Jamshedpur, March 28: The Pre-Primary segment of KPS Kadma observed “Hand Wash Day” on Tuesday.
The programme was held to spread the message of personal hygiene and to make the students aware of the importance of hand washing hygiene to health and to prevent from food poisoning.
The programme was inaugurated by Academic Director of the school Lakshmi Sharat followed by speech and song on hand washing.
Beautiful Quotes were exhibited for awareness.
A PowerPoint presentation highlighting the steps followed to wash hands was shown to the children from Nursery–Std 5. The children were taken to the tap area and were taught the steps of washing hands. Director Sharat Chandran, Lakshmi Sharat, headmistress, Alamelu Ravishankar and the teachers supported the cause and became an integral part of the programme by washing hands along with the tiny tots.
The dignitaries of the school appreciated the noble initiative and applauded the teachers for taking up this hygienic move of spreading awareness on health and hygiene.
