KPS Kadma: Republic Day celebrated with éclat

Jamshedpur, Jan 27: Kerala Public School, Kadma celebrated 74th Republic Day on January 26. The celebrations commenced with the customary unfurling of the national flag by Principal Sharmila Mukherjee followed by the National Anthem. The day was celebrated with great éclat.

Principal addressed the gathering and motivated the students to be the harbingers of social change to build a new, better and strong India. Patriotic songs and dances were presented by the students to mark the occasion.

A colourful cultural programme presented by the students added a festive spirit to the occasion. The programme started with a melodious rendition which was an invocation to Goddess Saraswati. The graceful movements of the dancers were spellbinding. The speech narrated by the students filled the atmosphere with fervor and great concern for their country.

The Hindi medium students also presented speech and mesmerizing dance performance. This was followed by Declamation delivered a passionate student of Primary wing. The programme was finally concluded with the delivery of the vote of gratitude by the school Headmistress, Alamelu Ravishankar. She highlighted on nation’s achievements and encouraged the students to be dutiful citizens of our Nation.
