KPS Kadma holds prayer meet for late music teacher Swapan Tewary

Jamshedpur, July 12: Kerala Public School Kadma conducted prayer meeting in memory of music teacher Swapan Tewary on Tuesday.

Swapan Tewary, a teacher at KPS Kadma and an eminent musician of the city left for his heavenly abode on 25^th June, 2023.

A passionate teacher, dedicated musician- he was loved by all teachers and students. An excellent musician both in and outside the campus, he will be sorely missed by everyone whose lives he touched in so many different ways.

Director Sharat Chandran, Academic Director Lakshmi R, Principal Sharmila Mukherjee, Headmistress Almelu Ravishankar, coordinators, teachers, support staff and students expressed their heartfelt condolences to Swapan Tewary.  “Havan” was conducted in the Morning Assembly to condole the death of departed soul and pray to Almighty that the bereaved family is able to draw strength in this hour of grief.

Management and faculty, KPS Kadma made arrangement for prayer meeting in the evening in presence of bereaved family members to recall the contribution and best years of his life spent in Kerala Public School Kadma. The prayer meeting commenced with Multi- Faith prayer by the teachers.

Principal Sharmila Mukherjee addressed the gathering by highlighting Swapan Tewary’s immense hardwork, sincerity and passion as an artist who always had a smile on his face in every situation.

Director Sharat Chandran communicated the profound impact, bonding and magnificent aura of Swapan in the institution which was highly remarkable.

The auditorium witnessed the melodious and soulful “bhajans” sung by the renowned artists. While offering heartfelt sympathies, faculty forum and students prayed for the peace of the departed soul. The evening ended with the offering of flower petals by everyone to pay homage to our lovely Swapan Sir.
