KPS Kadma girl wins 3 gold medals in Rifle Shooting Championship, sets state record

Jamshedpur, Jan 24: Eshana Sen, class 7 student of Kerala Public School, Kadma has brought laurels to the school and city by triumphed at the Rifle Shooting Championship.  

She won 3 Gold Medals in 10M Air Rifle Shooting Championship at the 11th Jharkhand State Rifle Shooting Championship event organised by Deoghar District Rifle Shooting Association from 21 to 23 January in Deoghar.  

She won Gold Medals in the youth women category (below 18years), Junior Women (below 21years) and women category (above 21 years) and achieved new state record in all events including men & women by scoring 396/400.

Eshana’s coach Biswajeet Dutta who himself is a former national medal winner who groomed her since she was a 9-year-old kid is content with her performance and hopes that she continues with the same rhythm  and achieves mores success.  

Eshana is also being mentored by Sawan Kujjur, Gurmeet Singh of Jamshedpur Rifle Club. Her parents thanked Uttam Chand, Secretary General of Jharkhand Rifle Association for continuous support.

The Management and teachers of Kerala Public School Kadma are very proud of her achievement and wished her the very best for future endeavours.
