Jamshedpur, Nov. 24:The pre primary segment of KPS Kadma celebrated �Seed Day� on Thursday, November 24 with the objective of saving and protecting mother earth.
The chief guest for the event was Shanta Vaidyanathan(Assistant Director of K.P.S Schools). The Director of the school, Sharat Chandran graced the occasion with his august presence.The programme was observed by teachers and students of UKG.
The gathering was welcomed by an address by the Vice Principal of the school Mrs Harmeet Pal. A mesmerizing powerful and alluring dance and drama with the message of �save mother earth� was put up by the students of Pre Primary segment of the school.
The chief guest was enthralled by seeing the outstanding performance of the toddlers. Her words of wisdom filled the young minds with new vigor and vitality. The programme was appreciated by the Director, Mr. Sharat Chandran and the Principal, Ms. Sharmila Mukherjee.
To reinforce the understanding of basic lifecycle of plants, germination activity was conducted by all the students of U.K.G. Thereby 100% participation of the pre-primary segment of the school.
The chief guest and the dignitaries did the honors by sowing the seeds in the pot and supported the cause and the noble spirit of “going green”.
The Coordinator Mrs melu Ravishankar assembled the vote of thanks while acknowledging the students; teachers for making this programme a grand success.
