KPS Kadma celebrates Raksha Bandhan by tying Rakhis to plants

Jamshedpur, August 17: Kerala Public School (KPS) Kadma celebrated Raksha Bandhan in the school premises on Wednesday, a day before the festival.

This is a unique initiative taken by ECO BEES, the students of the Eco Club of Kerala Public School, Kadma. Sharat Chandran, Director of Kerala Public Schools graced the occasion as the chief guest.

On this day, Rakhis were tied to the plants by the Chief Guest, Principal Sharmila Mukherjee, Vice Principal Harmeet Pal to symbolize a strong communion with nature and emphasize on its value.

A song performance was put up by the school choir followed by a motivational speech by the Chief Guest.

The ECO BEES have also initiated the �Clean to Green� project, an awareness drive to keep the vicinity clean.
