Jamshedpur, July 3: The CISCE Basketball Tournament, hosted by Loyola School, Bistupur, from July 1 to July 3, concluded with spirited performances and remarkable sportsmanship from all participating schools. Among the highlights of the tournament was the impressive performance of KPS Kadma boys and Loyola School (Bistupur) girls, who clinched the top positions in the Under-19 category.
A total of 17 schools took part in the event, which featured competitions in six categories: Under-14, Under-17, and Under-19 for both boys and girls.

In the Girls’ Under-14 category, Loyola School (Bistupur) bagged 1st place, followed by Carmel Junior College (2nd) and Hill Top School (3rd). In the Boys’ Under-14, Hill Top School took the top spot, with Carmel School in 2nd and Loyola School (Telco) in 3rd.
Kerala Samajam Model School (KSMS) won the Girls’ Under-17 title, with Carmel Junior College and J.H. Tarapore School securing 2nd and 3rd places respectively. In the Boys’ Under-17, KPS Kadma emerged victorious, followed by Hill Top School and Gulmohar School.
In the prestigious Girls’ Under-19 category, Loyola School (Bistupur) claimed 1st place, with Sacred Heart Convent finishing 2nd and Carmel Junior College in 3rd. KPS Kadma dominated the Boys’ Under-19 segment, with Loyola School (Bistupur) in 2nd and Carmel Junior College in 3rd.
The event witnessed a series of competitive matches and showcased excellent teamwork and talent. Loyola School extended heartfelt thanks to all participating schools, coaches, officials, and volunteers for their efforts in making the tournament a grand success.
