Jamshedpur, Nov 28: Sanchit Mukherjee, student of Std X, Kerala Public School Kadma has achieved commendable success by winning Gold Medal in Chess (under 17 Boys Category) and has been given ‘Sports Award of the Year 2019-20’ by CISCE.
He represented the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi (CISCE) at the 65th National School Games 2019–20 conducted under the aegis of the SGFI (School Games Federation of India). He would have received the award in the ASISC National Conference but for the pandemic it was cancelled. The CISCE takes pride in the achievement of Sanchit because it also showcases the winning of CISCE in the SGFI which comprises of all schools affiliated to all boards nationwide.
The CISCE has sent a Letter of Appreciation along with a Cash award of Rs 10,000 for Sanchit Mukherjee.
