Jamshedpur, August 5: The Society for Promotion of Professional Excellence (SPPE) organized its 7th Hindi Elocution competition at the Centre for Excellence Auditorium on Wednesday. �
Nearly 30 students from various schools participated in the programme.
The participants were judged by Jai Prakash, Editor, Chamakta Aina, Ms Ranjana Kumari, practising Company Secretary, Mrs Sudha Goel, Professor, writer and active member of multilingual organization �Sahyog�.�
Professor Chetna Verma rendered the vote of thanks by expressing gratitude to SPPE as the participants got a nice platform to showcase their talent. Mrs Sudha Goel and Jai Prakash gave tips to the participants to improve their skills.
Ms Ranjana said,�It�s a matter of pride�that numbers of girl participants are more than the boys.� Anu Ranjan, principal Kerala Samajam Hindi School(KPS) and Ashok Shubhdarshi, member of Janwadi Lekhak Sangh along others gave away prizes to the winners.�
In the junior category, Arshi Firdous of KPS got the first prize and Anjali Rajak of HMMHS excelled the senior category.
In the junior group Arshi Firdous of Kerala Public Hindi School, Mango bagged the first prize, Usha Bag of Premjyoti Prangan was declared second while Arti Kumari of Kerala Samajam Hindi School, Sakchi�was in the third position.
Consolation prizes were awarded to Prity Kumari of Hindustan Mitra Mandal Middle School Golmuri�, Jasvinder Kaur of Tinplate Khalsa Middle School Golmuri�and Anshu Kumari of Kerala Public Hindi School NML Agrico. �
In the senior group Anjali Rajak � of Hindustan Mitra Mandal High School, Golmuri�was the declared the winner followed by Tulsi Kumari of Hindustan Mitra Mandal Middle School, Golmuri and Nisha Sona of Premjyoti Prangan.
Sushmita Mahto of Kerala Public Hindi School Kadma, Prity Kumari of Bhartiya Model Middle School, Sakchi�and Sourav Kumar Keshri of Sri Ram Krishna high School, Bistupur�won the consolation prizes.
