Jamshedpur: State government has given approval to the proposal for the construction of the Kowali-Layalam main road. The road is to be constructed at an expense of Rs 20.56 crore by the road construction department. Laddoos were distributed among the villagers of Potka at various places on Sunday.
Yashwant Mahato, representative of MP of Jamshedpur Bidyut Baran Mahato, said the villagers of South Potka have long been demanding a road which would connect Kowali to Layalam as the existing road has become dilapidated.
