Jamshedpur: Kolhan Commissioner Vijay Kumar Singh Thursday held a meeting with the Deputy Commissioner cum Returning Officer of East Singhbhum Amit Kumar and SSP Anoop Birtharay to review preparations for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections on 12th May. He sought updated reports regarding basic amenities at polling booths, booth communication plan, route plan, number of sensitive and highly sensitive polling booths and sector and cluster points.

The Commissioner discussed in detail about shadow areas of the district, training of polling duty staff, micro plan for Divyang voters and action taken in Model Code of Conduct violation cases. He also discussed about inter-state police coordination.
Earlier today, the Commissioner inspected polling booths in Jamshedpur West Assembly constituency. He later went to polling booths in Sonari, Kadma and Mango for inspection of basic amenities for voters.
During inspection, the Commissioner spoke to local voters and found out if their names were included in the voters� list or not. He asked the BLO to bring specially-abled (Divyang) voters to booths on 12th May.
