Koderma, Mar 1: The investigation into the Matriculation examination question paper leak, conducted by the Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC), is progressing swiftly. The remand period for the six individuals arrested from Giridih, including the alleged mastermind, is set to conclude on Saturday. Police officials have indicated that significant revelations have been made during interrogations, leading to crucial developments in the case.

Koderma police, under the leadership of SDPO Anil Kumar Singh, are scheduled to visit Giridih today to examine further aspects of the case. The investigation aims to identify any additional individuals involved in the crime and scrutinize the circumstances under which the question paper was leaked.

According to sources, the officials and magistrates responsible for securing the question papers in the Vajraghar (secure storage) will also be questioned. The police believe that lapses in security and negligence in handling the question papers played a significant role in the breach. Had authorities been more vigilant, the culprits could have been caught much earlier.

SDPO Anil Kumar Singh stated, “The accused individuals have provided key information during interrogation. Their remand period ends today and they will be sent to judicial custody. However, our investigation will continue and strict legal action will be taken against all those found guilty.”
