Jamshedpur: The rural development minister of Jharkhand KN Tripathy today met Union rural development minister Gopinath Munde in New Delhi and sought Central assistance for the various schemes being run in the state.
He said funds should be made available by the Central government to implement various schemes operational in the state.
He said funds could not be procured due to Lok Sabha elections that concluded recently. Tripathy said the state government wanted to carry out various projects in the state before rainy season.
The Union minister asked Tripathy to send report of various schemes to his ministry so that the funds could be made available at the earliest.
