Jamshedpur, Feb 21: The Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) IPL 2024 Trophy Tour made a historic stop in Jamshedpur on Friday, drawing thousands of enthusiastic fans to P&M Mall in Bistupur.
As part of their nationwide celebrations, KKR brought their championship trophy to Jharkhand, giving supporters a chance to witness the team’s ultimate prize up close.
The event, which began at 4 PM, saw an overwhelming turnout as fans flocked to the mall to catch a glimpse of the prestigious IPL trophy. The excitement was palpable, with supporters cheering, clicking pictures, and celebrating KKR’s third IPL title. The team also engaged with the crowd, distributing special giveaways and souvenirs to lucky attendees.
Jamshedpur was one of the key stops on KKR’s first-ever nationwide Trophy Tour, a unique initiative allowing fans across India to be part of the championship celebrations. The event highlighted the deep connection between the franchise and its supporters beyond their home city of Kolkata.
The Trophy Tour began in Guwahati and will continue to several cities, including Ranchi on February 23 (JD Hi Street Mall), Gangtok on February 28 (West Point Mall), Siliguri on March 2 (City Center Mall), Patna on March 7 (City Center Mall), Durgapur on March 9 (Junction Mall), before culminating in Kolkata on March 12 (City Center Mall).
This marks the first time an IPL team has organized a Trophy Tour outside its home base, reinforcing KKR’s commitment to engaging with fans nationwide and celebrating their championship glory with the people who support them.
