Kin of former Tayo staff cry foul play

Gamharia: The case of alleged suicide of former Tayo Rolls employee Vijay Nayak has taken a turn with the kin of the deceased accusing a local transporter of murder.
The relatives of late Vijay Nayak alleged that the transporter Basu Manjhi had killed the former Tayo employee and hung his body from the tree. They demanded arrest of the accused for what they termed a pre-planned murder.

On the other hand, the accused Basu Manjhi said he was innocent and that he and his son were being implicated by the kin of Vijay Nayak.

Manjhi said he had sold a plot of land to Nayak against a payment of Rs 4 lakh on 20th July last. He denied allegations of having received Rs 5 lakh from Nayak against the land sale. He said Nayak had ended his life after being ill-treated by his family members.
