Neeraj Kant takes over as Vice Chairman
Jamshedpur, March 14: Killol Kamani, vice chairman, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Jharkhand State Council and managing director, Samarth Engineering Co Pvt Ltd was elected as chairman of CII Jharkhand State Council for the year 2018-19.
Neeraj Kant, chairman CII Jamshedpur Zonal Council and managing director The Indian Steel & Wire Products Ltd (ISWP) was elected as Vice Chairman of CII Jharkhand State Council. This was announced at the Annual Meeting of the CII Jharkhand State Council held at Beldih Club in Bistupur on March 14.
On the occasion, discussion on various initiative and benefits for the industry including policy initiatives from state government and projecting the state as the preferred investment destination was part of the agenda of the session. Former CII Jharkhand State council chairman and Vice President, Corporate Services, Tata Steel, Sunil Bhaskaran, also emphasised that CII going ahead can play a vital role in shaping the industrial fabric of the state.
Both Mr. Kamani & Mr. Kant assured to continue with the momentum of work that happened last year. They also vowed to continue to work closely with the state government and all the other stakeholders.
Alongside CII Jharkhand annual meeting, a Session on Sustainability � The Inclusive Approach for Responsible Business was also organized.
