Jamshedpur, August 20: Tata Steel Corporate Safety Department & Apex Safety OHS & Ergonomic Sub �Committee organised a two day Khushaali function on 19th and 20th August, 2015 for employees and spouses at Center for Excellence. Thirty employees with their spouses attended the workshop.
The objective of the programme was to improve the Health & Safety of the employees and their families and also enhance the involvement of spouses in Safety Excellence Journey of Tata Steel.
The programme was inaugurated on 19th August at Centre for Excellence. Suresh Dutt Tripathi, VP, HRM, Tata Steel graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. While addressing the gathering he stressed upon importance of parenting in changing time.
He showed his concern over youth taking risk and advised parents to support children. Mr Prabhat Lal, Treasurer TWU, graced the occasion as Guest of Honour.
He appreciated the initiative and assured full support in organising such events in future too. The welcome address was given by Mr Shyam Sunder, Chief Corporate Safety, Tata Steel.
Sessions on Inter personal relationship, disadvantage of taking loan from provident fund, domestic safety & life style management was taken by experts.
The second day strated with yoga session and concluded by plant visit.
