Seraikela: Kharsawan MLA Dashrath Gagrai and Deputy Commissioner Arva Rajkamal held a meeting with the Martyrs Memorial Committee regarding the Martyr’s Day to be organised in Kharsawan on January 1.
In the said meeting held at Kharsawan Shaheed Park, all the points regarding the possible arrival of Chief Minister Hemant Soren on the occasion of Martyrs’ Day were discussed. In view of the possible arrival of the Chief Minister and the convenience of the public representatives and tourists coming from the surrounding districts and states, a point-wise discussion was held regarding the conduct of worship with public faith. Discussions were held on better operation of the programme, law and order, security maintenance as well as ensuring proper arrangement of water, toilets etc. around the park. During this, it was unanimously decided to depute magistrates and volunteers, to build a shoe stand outside Shaheed Park and to set up a control room.
On this occasion, Kharsawan MLA Dashrath Gagrai said that a meeting was held with the members of the Shaheed Memorial Committee for the successful conduct of the program. It was decided to make the event successful by following the Corona guidelines in a peaceful environment. He said that the arrival of the Chief Minister of the state is possible. It is possible that the Chief Minister will come to announce as a gift to the residents of Kharsawan. He informed that Kharsawan Shaheed Park would be developed as a national level tourist destination. The preparations for all the times are being done rapidly.
The Deputy Commissioner said that on the occasion of Martyrs’ Day, many public representatives and tourists from far and wide participate in the event, including the possible arrival of the Chief Minister. In view of this, preparations have been made by the district administration keeping in view the maintenance of law and order and the safety and convenience of public representatives and tourists. For its peaceful and successful operation, a strategy has been prepared after meeting with the Shaheed Memorial Committee. He said that it has been decided to ensure the cleanliness of Shaheed Park, Rang Rogan and road, square, square, etc. around Shaheed Park, as well as arrangement of 6 tankers and eight mobile toilets to ensure drinking water system . Along with this, by providing ID cards, magistrates and volunteers will be deployed. On the occasion, he appealed to the tourists to conduct the puja in a peaceful environment keeping in mind the faith of the people.

On the occasion Aparup Commissioner Subodh Kumar, ASP, Seraikela Sub-Divisional Officer Ram Krishna Kumar, Kharsawan Block Development Officer, Khansama police station in-charge and members of the committee were present in the meeting.
