Seraikela, Aug 6: The Kharsawan police have arrested a total of five accused and sent them to custody in connection with the theft incident in Abhijeet Company, which was closed in Burudih under Kharsawan police station, and in the case of firing in the order of theft on the night of August 4 .
In connection with the matter, Police Inspector Alok Kumar Dubey and Kharsawan police station in-charge Prakash Rajak gave information in a press conference in Seraikela police station premises. He said that information was being received about the theft of copper and iron for the last few days in Abhijeet Company, which is lying closed at Burudih. At Kharsawan police station case number 44/2021 was registered. After this, again on the night of August 4, a case was registered under Kharsawan police station case number 46/2021 on the information of firing in the order of theft. In view of the increasing theft case, a special raiding team was formed as per the orders of the Superintendent of Police. Taking quick action, 41-year-old Jeevan Honhaga of Burudih was first arrested in the Kharsawan police station case number 44/2021. On the basis of whose confession statement, the other accused of the case, Mohammad Hira alias Anwar Hussain, 42, resident of Jugsalai in Jamshedpur and 45-year-old Uday Hembram, resident of Khaparsai Tola, Seraikela Govindpur, were arrested from near the Seraikela court.
In this sequence, with the help of interrogation and secret sources, information was received that on the night of August 4,suspected of theft and firing incident inside the company, is hiding in Kharsawan’s Kadamdiha. The accused in the arrested case, Tarak Harijan, 40, resident of Patharkalpada, Birbhum district of West Bengal, and Sharif Ansari, 48, a resident of Digwar of Ramgarh Mandu police station, confessed their crime before the police and gave information about other people.
