Jamshedpur, Oct 12: Kharagpur resident Sujoy Patro took away a Mahulia village (under Galudih police station in Ghatshila Block) young girl perforce. He took her to Kharagpur and forced her into marriage in a temple. The girl informed her relatives who came and rescued her from Sujoy�s home in Kharagpur. Soon Sujoy opened a fake Face Book account and posted vulgar pictures of the young girl along with her phone number. The photos have gone viral and the girl was receiving calls on her mobile phone.
Fed up with it all, the girl lodged a complaint in the Cyber police station in Bistupur. In her complaint she stated that Sujoy�s aunt resided in Mahulia and she met him in her village during a marriage ceremony. They got acquainted with each other. Sujoy managed to get her mobile number and since then, he began to pester her regularly for marriage. On November 23, 2018, Sujoy forcefully took her to Kharagpur and married her in a temple there much against her wish. He took her to his home from where she informed her relatives who went there and brought her back.
According to the police, if after investigation the girl�s accusations are found to be correct, stern action would be taken against the youth.
