Jamshedpur: Jharkhand State Khadi and Village Industries Board is preparing rakhis and special dress worn by kanwariyas. The dresses include kurti, kameez, half pant and salwar suit. The jhola (cloth bag) carried by the kanwariyas to Deoghar is also being prepared by the Board artisans. According to the Board member Kulwant Singh Bunty, special discounts of 20 and 25 per cent are being offered on Khadi cloth material and readymade Khadi garments respectively. The artisans are also preparing Khadi rakhis that have been priced at a range of Rs 20 to Rs 35, said Bunty.
