Kerala Public School Kadma holds Investiture Ceremony

Jamshedpur: Kerala Public School, Kadma, held its Investiture Ceremony on August 12, 2025, with great enthusiasm to formally induct student leaders for the academic year 2025–26. The event was graced by Chairperson Manorama Nair, Director Sharat Chandran, Principal Sharmila Mukherjee, Headmistress Alamelu Ravishankar and principals from other KPS branches.

The ceremony began with the lighting of the lamp and a prayer song, followed by a march past led by newly elected school presidents Anjali Kumari (5C) and Aditya Kumar Singh (4A). House captains included Mehrin Bushra (Red), Atul Kumar (Yellow), Vihaan Sahu (Green) and Aradhya Pathak (Blue). Cabinet ministers were appointed for Ethics (Diptanshu Mahato), Discipline (Shreya Singha Roy), Environment (Vivaan Sahu), Safety (Aadil Ali) and Cultural (Vidya Kumari).

The newly elected council received their badges from Headmistress Alamelu Ravishankar before pledging to serve with dedication and uphold the school’s values. Director Sharat Chandran, in his address, urged the young leaders to take on their responsibilities with “commitment, discipline and integrity,” while congratulating them on their achievements.

The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by Tushar of Class 5A and the singing of the National Anthem, marking a proud moment for the school community.
