Jamshedpur, April 14: The Kerala Catholic Association organized one-day devotional retreat at Divya Jyoti Retreat Centre, Sundernagar, as part of its annual Holy Week observance. The retreat saw active participation from over 60 members.
The spiritual session was led by four priests: Father Saji VC, Father George VC, Father Sebastian VC, and Father Martin VC. Following the retreat, a Palm Sunday celebration was held, which included a Holy Mass. The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by the association’s secretary, Jolly Mathew.
“This retreat marks the beginning of our Holy Week programs, and we are grateful for the overwhelming response from our members,” said Jiju Thomas, President of the Kerala Catholic Association. “We request everyone to participate in the upcoming services and make the Holy Week a spiritually enriching experience for all.”
The upcoming Holy Week services at Divya Jyoti Retreat Centre include:
- Maundy Thursday (April 17): Holy Mass at 6:30 p.m.
- Good Friday (April 18): Services begin at 10:00 a.m.
- Easter Vigil (April 19): Malayalam Mass starts at 7:00 p.m.
Jiju Thomas expressed appreciation for the collective effort of all members and urged continued participation in the remaining programs.
