Keeping pace with technology must for students: Sudesh Mahato

Jamshedpur: �Tech Uphoria 2016� was organized at the Government Women�s Polytechnic, Gamharia, on Tuesday. The chief guest of the occasion was AJSU president Sudesh Mahato.

In his address, Mahato said the students need to be deft in new technologies to keep with the modern times. He said that girls were no more lagging behind in keeping pace with the latest technology. He further said that the institution should have tie-up with various industries to provide employment to the students on the basis of their skills.

Mahato said that every student had distinct personality and talent. The talent of students should be brought to the fore, he said.

Also present at the event was the Examination Controller of the state Board Dr Ayodhya Kumar. He said the students possessed technical knowledge besides having talent.

Earlier, the programme was inaugurated with the lighting of a ceremonial lamp by the guests. The students presented various cultural song and dance items during the event.

Among others present at the programme included Aditi Chatterjee, Nazia Ismat, BK Pandey, Rani Mahato, Amrita Tudu, Susen Mahato, Satyanarayan Mahato, Chhavi Mahato and Nandu Patel.
