Jamshedpur, March 16 : During the Holi Milan of Kasaudhan Vaisya Samaj people pledged to oppose the dowry practices which is making our society vacuous.
Like every year Holi Milan event was held at Hanuman Mandir in Bajrangi Bagan, Laxmi Nagar on Monday with pomp and gaiety.
President of Samaj Parsuram Sao started the celebration with smearing colour in the feet of Hanumanji. Fagua songs presented by Imleshwar Nath Mandli enthralled the participants.
Residents in large number smeared colours on each other and celebrated the occasion with fanfare. Guest present on the occasion was Sanjeev Singh, representative of Jamshedpur MP.
To make the event successful Awdhesh Sao, Omprakash Gupta, Anil Gupta, Rajesh Gupta, Jiyalal Sao, Ramji Sao, Ramdhani, Digvijay, Ram Daud, Durga Sao, Gopal Sao, Bhola Gupta, Triveni Gupta, Ramvriksh, Shivnath, Ram Avtar, Ram Nivas and others played vital role.
