Ranchi: Kartik Purnima was celebrated in the state as devotees took holy dip in rivers and ponds and worshipped god early morning.
People visited various river ghats and other water bodies to take bath. A large number of people prayed to the gods after taking bath on the occasion of Kartik Purnima.
Satyanarayan Puja was also organized all over the state. Being an auspicious day, it also turned out to be the day for starting many projects for many people.
