Kariya Munda attends vigilance meeting

Seraikela: The deputy Speaker of Lok Sabha and MP Kariya Munda today attended the meeting of Seraikela-Kharsawan District Vigilance Committee at the district headquarters. He expressed his dissatisfaction during the meeting. He said he was not satisfied with the report submitted by the government departments. He said the engineers of all departments were keeping the district administration in the dark. He said the quality of road constructed from Bhajna Ghat to Tablapur was too poor.

Munda said the villagers had destroyed the construction work after finding the quality of the road too deplorable. He said the district administration should make sure that all kind of construction and projects should be of highest possible quality. He said the problems related to health, education and electricity should be solved immediately. He said the district administration should make sure that the administrative work is transparent and fast.

The meeting was also attended by the deputy commissioner of Seraikela-Kharsawan Kripanand Jha, superintendent of police Indrajeet Jha, MLA of Ichagarh Arvind Singh, Zila Parishad chairperson Shakuntala Mahali, district planning officer, sub divisional officer CB Singh, deputy superintendent of education Ratan Mahavar, junior and assistant engineers of all departments, block development officers and circle officers.

Munda directed the DC to pay an inspection visit to Tablapur and take necessary measures to ensure quality construction of the road again. He also said that he would be talking to the principal secretary of the health department regarding the outbreak of diarrhoea in several parts of the district.
