Karim City students display talent in Ad Mad Show

Jamshedpur, March 6: The mass communication department of Karim City College is organising a 10-day Media Fest in the college campus. As part of the fest on Monday, March 6, an Ad Mad Show and Damsharas competition was organised. Total of nine teams participated in the competition. Judges for the event were professor Jahid Parvez and Doel Dutta.

The events were anchored jointly by Nimali Lochan and Amit Kumar. In the second session of the day, students directed films were screened.

Present on the occasion were HOD (Mass Communication) Karim City College Dr. Neha Tiwary, faculty members including Nida Zakaria, Syed Sajid Parwez, Doel Dutta, Farzana Begum, Syed Sahjeb Parwez and others. The winners of the Ad Mad Show were Priti, Suraj, Yogita, Nandini, Surbhi and Shubham.

In the second place were Sakshi, Kajal, Prachi, Dilraj, Momita and Huma. The second runners-up were Pinaki, Talha, Nitin, Byomkesh and Prakash.

Several events have been lined for the week including Photography contest on March 7, Film festival based on women on March 8 and 9 followed by screening of films directed by the students of the college on March 10.
